Happy Birthday Mama!!!

Mama!! Sitting here watching TV and all i can think about is you. Your smile, your laugh, your scent, your heart, your mind and your love for me 💛💛💛 God blessed me with such an amazing grandmother in you.

You’ve been by my side since before the womb. When I’m down and out, you’re there! When I’m perked up and beyond hyper, you’re there. When I can’t take the pain of each day, you’re there. You’ve never left my side. You’ve never left me hanging.

Through life, you’ve allowed me to make and learn from my mistakes. You’ve taught me the true meaning of unconditional love. Outside of God there hasn’t been a stronger love in my life than you.

You taught me to forgive. You taught me to smile and have joy even in the midst of chaos. You’ve showed me that it’s okay to hurt, it’s okay to feel pain, it’s okay to not know, it’s okay to live life regardless of what others think. You’ve shown me what not giving up looks like!

You’ve taught me about being a faith filled and God fearing woman. Mama you’ve held me in your arms since I was born. You continue to carry me through each day. You continue to speak life in me when I have no desire to go on. You’ve shown me and taught me strength.

No matter what obstacles come before you, you’ve always stood your ground and pushed through it all. You continue to keep gaining a new level of strength.

I celebrate you today; not just because it’s your birthday, but because there were times when I thought you wouldn’t be here to celebrate. There doesn’t have to be a special day for you. I love you mama and praying a year of peace, joy, grace and love! May each day bring with it new reasons to smile and crazy faith for what God can and will do in, through and for you!!!
